Studio Upgrades - the story so far...
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away, there was a studio. And a couple of weeks ago, we destroyed it, to make way for a brand new production studio!
Over the past couple of weeks, the team working at 2CCR FM has been flat out building the new Studio 1, which will be able to do high quality recordings, and also go direct to air if the main studio (Studio 2) is unavaliable.
After working flat out over the Queens Birthday long weekend, the tech team can now do the following:
- Play CDs
- Use one of the fancy new mics to talk to themself
- Listen to the Talking Clock (he is rather rude, and hangs up after a while)
While this is not enough to actually broadcast from, we know that things are going well, and the studio might be able to be opened in a few weeks time. While we aren't letting people go in the studio as of yet, we have a few photos so everyone can grab a glimpse of the studio. (Yes, we know it is a huge mess!)
